As a passionate advocate for education and equal opportunities, I am reaching out to you on behalf of School U Inc. and the students we serve. It is with great urgency and determination that I share with you our initiative to establish the EmpowerED Dreams Scholarship Fund, aimed at increasing educational opportunities for minority students.

In light of recent developments, including the passage of Senate Bill 17, which places restrictions on activities related to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), it has become increasingly imperative for organizations like ours to underscore our commitment to promoting diversity in education. School U Inc. remains unwavering in our dedication to ensuring equal access to education for all individuals, regardless of race, ethnicity, or background.

The EmpowerED Dreams Scholarship Fund is a direct response to this pressing need. Designed to provide financial assistance to deserving minority students, the scholarship aims to help bridge the gap in educational access and opportunity. By supporting minority students who are high school seniors or current college students, we strive to empower individuals and foster a more inclusive educational landscape.

The scholarships will begin being awarded during the 2024-2025 school year, ensuring that deserving students receive timely support as they pursue their educational goals.

The criteria for eligibility for this scholarship remain as follows:

For High School Seniors: - Must be a minority student. - Must have been accepted into a college or university. - Must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5. - Must submit a letter of interest. - Must provide a letter of recommendation.

For College Students: - Must be a minority student. - Must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5. - Must submit a letter of interest. - Must provide a letter of recommendation.

We firmly believe that diversity enriches the educational experience and prepares students to thrive in an increasingly interconnected world. By investing in the education of minority students, we not only empower individuals but also strengthen our communities and society as a whole.

Therefore, we are reaching out to request your generous contribution to the EmpowerED Dreams Scholarship Fund. Your donation will directly impact the lives of minority students, enabling them to pursue their educational aspirations and contribute to a more diverse and inclusive society.
